Show Love, Do Love, Be Love

Show Love, Do Love, Be Love

 Love is in the air!

No, we aren’t talking about the fact that Valentine’s Day is approaching (although that’s definitely a factor); we’re saying that love is continually around us 365 days a year. Here at Bread and Butter we want everyone to embrace the idea of love and showing that love every single day—not just on a certain holiday. Here's an infographic to help you celebrate the real cupids this Valentine's Day:

To help you become a regular old cupid, we have some ways that you can show love, do love, and be love on a regular basis. We’re sure you’ll love it.

Show Love

Simple acts of love are easy to forget to engage in. Hugs, a smile, a carefully considered compliment—all of these things are ways that we can show people that we love them. Life is busy and it is easy to fall into a routine of not making a conscious effort to showcase your love to the people who are most important to you. Go home, hug your parents, and watch their faces light up. Send a text message to a friend you haven’t talked to in a while. Never be afraid to overuse “I love you.” Don’t assume that your people know you love them so you don’t have to show them. Of course they probably do know, but you need to continue to nourish them so they never forget.

Showing love can come in many different forms. A carefully selected Bread and Butter gift basket is another option you can pursue to show the ones closest to you just how much you love them.

Do Love

Doing love means stepping out even further from your own inner circle and opening your arms to everyone and everything that you encounter. Buy a stranger a coffee. Give someone who is struggling some spare change. Strike up a conversation with the new, shy girl at work. Do things like picking up some discarded litter on the ground and throwing it in the garbage, or visiting your grandparents. Making sure that “doing love” is a part of your daily life will transform you in a wonderful way—it will make you “be love.”

Be Love

Being love means being a person that you would want to know and be friends with. Be the type of person that you can admire and look up to. Be the type of person who others can admire and look up to. Strive to encompass love in all aspects of your life by being compassionate and caring. Noticing the small, important moments in your life, making sure that you appreciate everything that you have in your life, showing love in your life, and doing love in your life are four tasks that can help you “be love” every single day of the year.
